I just purchased an Ikelite Auto 35 camera. is the macro lens used in conjunction with the built in Close-up lens or do you take the Close-up lens out when using the macro lens?? Instructions didn't make that quite clear.

A second question. The camera comes with a wrist strap. Seems like a neck strap would be more practical and would free up the hands. Any suggestions with regard to handling the camera underwater between photographs?

Thanks! ... Bob:confused:

Bluce,

Just snap in the macro lense. Remember to snap in the flash diffuser, too. If you're careful (and not wearing gloves), you can switch underwater.

I use a coiled lanyard that has a male/female connector that keeps the lanyard from expanding when I'm not using the camera. The nylon loop on one end goes around the Strobe handle and base plate, and the other end clips to a D-ring on my BC.

You'll get your best shots if you can get within 6 feet of your target.

Stone,

Thanks for the reply. But...do you leave the Close-up lens in or do you take it out after snapping in the macro lens??

Bob
