Ikelite 225 knob problem

Does anyone know of a method of converting the MTS swtich on an Ikelite 225 that would make it easier to change modes when wearing dry gloves? Due to its proximity to the strobe cable I often take far too long to change from TTL (for close ups) to manual (for wide angle).
Can the knob be replaced with another that would make it easier?
On a shallow dive it's no biggie, but below 200' where time is precious, it'd be nice if switching modes was a tad easier to perform.

Sounds like a project for Ike himself. He's very good about making a few custom changes when needed. I'd email and call him and his tecnicians...they're great!
