goddamnit, don, you posted that right when i started writing my thread... =)
:idk: I waited until he got his official name designation even tho it was a pretty sure thing yesterday. If he builds all the way across the Atlantic, he could make quite an impression. We're still flooding from Hermine in Texas. Glad we're not still at the campsite south of Wichita Falls we used last weekend.

Looks like he's going to be at least a Cat-3, but most of the computer models expect it to not enter the Caribbean. Historically, such storms don't....

Igor is predicted to curve and threaten mostly bermuda as a trough steers it NW on Tuesday.

Still the trough that is predicted to push it NW could decide it has a mind of its own and stall and Igor could clip the leeward islands...

Currently NHC is predicting strengthening to Category 5 tomorrow AM, followed by gradual weakening...

Looks like they're predicting Category 3 by the time it comes near bermuda....

Igor & Julia were both Cat-4 simultaneously but only briefly. At present, we have 3 full hurricanes in the north Atlantic, first time since 1998, and Igor may still be a Cat-3 when he calls on Bermuda. Miss Julie doesn't seem to be a threat to anyone.

Well, ol' Karl died in the Mexican mainland mountains and Julia failed in the open Atlantic but Igor is quite the monster still. Not only a threat to Nova Scotia and Newfounland, but when it is the last time Baffin Is and Greenland had Tropical Storm threats...?!
