Hello everyone. I joined this site basically because I am selling all of my gear and I know that someone here will make good use of it. First, here is my story... because I'm sure you want to know why I'm selling. I signed up to get certified at a local scuba shop. My first day of instruction covered a little on diving, the diving table, diving trips and then mostly on a huge equipment sale that coming weekend.
Well, guess what... I bought it all! Well, my experience was not good. I could not equalize properly but kept diving anyway and I ended up with two severe ear infections for 8 weeks. I lost interest and now I'm stuck with all this gear that I only used get certified:

I still have a passion for the deep but right now I guess I'll stick to snorkling.
Be carefull down there...

Sorry to hear about your problems, just curious, have you looked into any other shops/ instructors that may be able to help you surmount your problems? You may first, need to see an ENT who is also familiar with diving science to determine why you are having so much trouble. That trouble may exclude you from diving,... but then it might also be correctable & allow you to eventually dive & enjoy it. Just a thought.

I had to see an ENT because of how bad my infections were. I didn't go anywhere else for instruction and I'm not sure if I'm interested now. Trust me Tammy, I am extremely disappointed. My interest in diving was just as exciting as landing on the moon. (If I could of course).
