Apparently the diving here (In BC) is phenominal during winter. I can only imagine it's damn cold.
So I asked my instructor to see if I can get my dry suit cert combined with my confined/open dives.
Thankfully it's a yes. So aside from 2 additional courses, i get 2 wetsuit confined, 1 dry confined and then my open water cert will be done in dry suits.

I'm so stoked for this winter, I cant wait!

Now all i gotta do is wait for my stupid flu (my right ear plugs up and i have to wait it out with biotics) to pass and then i'm on the road to becoming stupidly addicted to diving!

You don't have to wait for winter. Vis last Saturday at Tuwanek was at least 60 feet. Swankenstien, as well as others, feel best vis around Victoria is in summer. The North Island enjoys good vis year round. If you go prepared for 3 feet you can allways claim 6 feet as better than expected.
