this very slow-moving friendly fish was in very shallow water (8 - 15 feet) at something special in bonaire. Is this a baby balloonfish or baby porcupine fish?

Bandtail Pufferfish, Sphoeroides spengleri.

A very small pufferfish, fairly common. We see them in NJ in late summer. They are a good aquarium fish, not particularly aggressive, and remaining quite small. They have the interesting habit of sleeping in a vertical position, usually in a corner hiding place.

Great pics.
