Iberostar PDC Diving?

Has anyone stayed at the Iberostar in PDC? It looks like there are 2 "sides" of a large resort, Quetzal and Tucan.

Any difference between the two?

How is the dive operator, Dressel, and where do they take you?

I know that Dressel on Coz has a certain reputation. Is it the same for PDC?

I went diving with Dressel at Iberostar Quetzal- they are way too expensive and only do one tank dives. They are fine if you are on time constraints and choose not to leave your resort. They are just not real excited about meeting new people and don't seem to care much about showing you a good dive. If you can, go to Playa del Carmen or Puerto Morelos. I've heard that Cat Brown at Dive Puerto Morelos is very good.

You may also consider staying at that resort and opting for another dive op that will pick you up from their pier. You can find plenty of posts here with good dive op recommendations!!
