Five members of the Stanislaus Sheriff's Dept. Dive Team will be there... I drew the wrong straw, so I don't get to go... I'll be holding down the fort.
I have put in a training request to go. Not sure what the budget will allow for but should know tommorrow.
Yotsie, sorry to hear you're not going to make it! I look forward though to seeing your teammates there.
For those who are not aware, the International Association of Dive Rescue Specialists (IADRS.org) will have their annual membership meeting and conference in Fairfax, VA on September 24-27, 2008. This is an event where public safety divers from around the country come together to exchange ideas, share information, learn from each other and see some of the latest advances in technology.

Sending some of the newer members this time around... I am looking forward to the 2009 Conference and will be there.
Hope everything is well with you.... We're doing fine, calls are down this year, which is a good thing...
