Wanted to put a heads up that the i-Torch 555 is now available and you should see it starting to filter through our dealer network any time now.

The 555 is a small torch that is powered by 3 x AA batteries and pushes 555 lumens. It is a wide 80 degree beam with a high quality reflector to provide a very smooth even beam. Great for a focus light, or a entry level video light for point and shoot cameras.

For more information please take a look at the i-Torch 555 on our website

You can use most of our metal lights out of water with out a problem. The Metal body provides a good heat sink so the light will not overheat. The drycell (alkaline battery) will also not provide enough power to worry about overheating.

Thank you for your interest!

Doug

what about using lithium or NiMH batteries with this light is that ok? Or do you have to only use alkaline batteries?

NiMH batteries are no problem. But please remove them when the battery is not in use to avoid any leakage.

Cheers,
Doug
