i thought all the reefs around cozumel formed palancar reef in general. is this wrong?

All of the reefs do not form Palancar Reef. However, Palancar is divided up into several sections: Palancar Gardens, Palancar Horseshoe, Palancar Caves, Palancar Bricks, and Punta Sur is actually the southernmost part of the Palancar system.
