Hi folks, did and passed my P.A.D.I open water in August this year on vacation to the Maldives, this one one of the things on my bucket list that needed to be crossed off but boy have I been bitten with the bug.
On my return to the U.K I sought out my local dive club and joined and have now been diving every weekend since, I have all my own equipment for diving these green and murky waters and invested in good quality from day one as I don't want to have to upgrade at a later date.
Have been mainly diving inland sites but did my first U.K sea dive on Saturday, this was from a rib, backward entry into the water and then on to the wreck of the Countess of Erne in Portland
looks as if I now have a regular dive buddy who is a master scuba diver so feel I'm in safe hands.
next on the agenda is my dry suit training and off to "othree" to get me a nice warm suit for these waters
anyway just saying hi to everyone and it looks as if I got this bad!
would normally say "onwards and upwards" but it's down that is what I'm after
yes that's me in my Avtar!!!
Best Regards
Mark
