I need help with Titanic survivors!

I have no where else to turn!!

Recently, an unamed grave in Canada was determined to hold the remains of Eino Panula. Eino died on the Titanic. Eino is the son of my great grandfather, John Panula. My grandmother is Violet Panula(married name:Edge).

I would like to contact the relatives who attened the re-burial sevice in Canada. My grandmother is 87 this week and she would LOVE to speak with them. It would be a great suprise.

I have tried some Titanic web sites but I have found them almost impossible to navigate(Kudos to the Scubaboard Team for a good, easy to use web site).

The funeral attendees were:

Magda Schleifer from Helsinki, her dauthter Nina. And the son-in-law: Jyrki Uutrla.



I need your help. Time is running out.

I thought I read somewhere that the last survivor died a couple of years ago, but anything more than that I can't supply, sorry.

If you local paper ran a story about this, you may want to contact them to see if they can give you any help. They may have access to several sources of info on the story and who to contract.

I was at Borders Book store last night. This story is on page 128 of the People magazine dated Novemeber 25, 2002, with Bon Jovi on the cover.
