I love this time of year...

From about Mid March through June, I am just lovin' life.

#1 - No Football. Hate football. Big yawn, wake me in January for the Superbowl.

#2 - College Hoops / March Madness - although I hate college hoop (its so much chuck-n-duck and just a step above WNBA) you gotta love the tourney. The one and done intensity is virtually unmatched. Love it.

#3 - NHL Playoffs - NHL is my fav...just rocks. Nothing like playoff hockey. The Dux...who knew. Another no-no for Giggy...wow.

#4 - Baseball just ramping up - another big yawn for me. 162 games...are you kidding me? Appreciate the game, the strategy, the positioning, the skills, etc. Whatever. I don't have the attention span for a full season. Wake me in September.

#5 - NBA playoffs. Love hoop. All these new teams rising up in the NBA this season. The east is still the JV. It'll probably be San Antonio and Denver, and I'd take Denver. San Antonio has no heart. I think my beloved Lakers will lose in 7.

This is the best time of the year for me, sports-wise. The tourney, NBA and NHL playoffs, then phone it in until the Fall.

I'm an air conditioning contractor. Now all those quotes I've been giving out all winter are turning into jobs. That means:

#1. I get to eat for the rest of the year.

#2. All my creditors will be happy.

#3. Mama can go shopping.

#4. I can go on my annual Carribean scuba diving trip around Feb.

#5. Bikini Babes.
