I have taken a lot of underwater pics, but have never posted one. I thought it was time. If I can do this right?

This was Taken in Thailand in November 2002 (Richelieu Rock)
Olympus 3040, in at Light and motion Tetra Housing, 2 Sea & Sea YS90 DX strobes. (Focal Length 6.6mm, 1/60 sec, F2.6)

Harlequin Shrimp Taken with the same Setup.
Also on Richelieu Rock! I love this guy.

What camera?

Olympus 3040.

I am upgrading the end of December if I can get all my ducks in a row!

I thought I recognized the Oly footprint! I love that shrimp!

It's taken me a year to decide to upgrade. I'll always like the C-4040 but after just a few days with the 5050, I don't know why I waited so long. This thing is fun! Even the jog dial isn't that big a deal...at least topside it isn't. My housinf should be here Friday so I'll report on that as soon as I can.

I hate to say it but, I purchased the Nikon D100 5 months ago and can't stop playing with it on the land. So I am looking at getting the Light & Motion D100 housing "Titan" I am waiting for them to work out some of the bugs before I get mine.

I am going to Port Hardy B.C. in November and will take the 3040,

I am going back to Thailand in Feb. 2004 where I plan to take the D100. I have learned a lot from your posts in the past, Thanks for the help.

Hey....good choice! If there had been a reasonably priced housing for my little Nikon CP885, that's what I would be using. You just can't beat Nikons macro capabilities!

I'll look forward to your pics from it.

Aw shucks....just passing along what was passed to me.

Traitor! Just kidding... . D100, Titan and dual strobes - that's some serious gear.

Very nice pics with the 3040 though.

ReyeR, Your set up looks pretty serious as well.

I started out taking underwater Video. That got a little boring after a while, so I handed it over to one of my dive buddies, and fell in love underwater photography. (Always learning / Improving)

Thanks!
