After much thought and discussion and a couple try dives with my local rebreather guru, I've made the plunge and started my theory for air dilutent inspo(2nd gen).

I'm holding off on the in water portion until after the holidays so I'll have sufficent time to focus on what I need to learn, but I've already had some good education on maintenance, refurbishment and all the strengths and weaknesses of my unit.

It's exciting as h3ll and I can't wait to get going!

I'm counting down....two weeks until I get to train on my Meg. :D

At long last, I've completed my air-dil course! So much fun and very challenging. Now I can't wait till next week for a proper dive.

You're doing better than I...... I have only been on my unit a few times for rather short dives, since cold weather set in almost immediately & does not show any sign of letting up soon. Every 4- 5 days we get an arctic blast & temps have been dropping to near -18 degrees C. Can't wait for spring to come around.

I just wanted to add that RB's a great under the ice. So, pull out that chain saw, ice anchors, safety line and get some RB ice instructor out of bed. :)

No ice,.. just very cold water..... Can't stand it for much more than 20- 30 min (even with a drysuit). The temp is the same, all the way down t the bottom. At least in the summer I can ascend into warmer layers & get some relief.

Have air dil on the rEvo starting Feb 4th...can't wait to have something with runtimes to match my scooter that doesn't weigh as much as double HP130s.
