I have a small ass and have a problem keeping my weight belt from slipping down as I dive. I do not have a weight integrated BC and I wish I did not have this problem...

Thanks

... I'll bet the size of your gut probably has more to do with it.

Several manufacturers make a weigth harness the will suspend the weight from your shoulders while you are vertical. DUI makes one.

However www.idsewing.com makes a mesh belt that seems to grip the suit fairly well and perhaps this would help.

If you are diving horizontally with your feet slightly elevated you will have no trouble with any belt slipping down... plus you will be more streamlined in the water and less prone to rototiller the bottom.

Actually... I'll bet you are overweighted to boot. Try taking some weight off the belt.

had the same problem, and he almost lost his weight belt at the ladder of the boat (hard to be horizontal there). He went to a DUI system and he loves it. The DUI has dumpable weight pockets and suspenders. It never slips down, and it moved some of the weight out of his BC pouches.

Just reinforcing the suggestion that Uncle Pug made. (and that is what you were looking for!) Hope it helps.

Just my dos centavos, and only because you asked.
