:brushteet Why is it that every time I have gone to the dentist, I can never decide which is more painful...

The whine of the dentist's drill or the sound of the cash register as they swipe all my $$$$$??

Now I'm sore, puffy AND broke!

Do you think the saltwater during my Rescue Diver Course this weekend will make me feel better??

Doesn't diving always make you feel better?

And... I must be lucky to have a great dentist. We both usually find stuff to laugh about. Any pain I experience is so minimal that it's not worth mentioning. Having two insurance policies helps too.

Going to the dentist ranks right up there on my "Hate To Do" list. I've found that the visits are more tolerable when I get my teeth cleaned twice a year, as opposed to once a year.

However, I've just found out that my health insurance recently reduced coverage benefits and now only covers one cleaning a year. I may have to just cough up the extra $50 on my own, though, as I've discovered that I start to have dreams about my teeth falling out when I haven't been to the dentist for a while.

Chepar,

Good idea to invest in that extra cleaning a year! You're gums and teeth will thank you tremendously down the road for it because it does make a HUGE differece. You're a smart lady! :) If you have any a questions feel free to email me.

KyMermaidDivr, I hope you don't think I was implying that I don't like dentists - in fact, my dentist is a lovely man, who always has a kind word to say to me - even when I tell him I don't floss EVERY nite!!

Its just the cost is always astronomical (but then again, it is only once or twice a year).

:D

NITROUS certified, then you'll enjoy the dentist....

Oh goodness, no! I hear " I don't like coming to the dentist" at least 6 times a day! I'm used to it. :bonk: I just grin and say "At least you're normal."
