I'm a Fish!
I moved to Texas from Chicago .. in the middle of Wreckmania II.
But, it all went smoothly.
Any hits on easing into a new area, after being in the old one your whole life?

What caused you to pick up and start over in a new location?

My husband's job wanted him back down in Texas. That is where he was from, when I met him working in Chicago. Also, his whole family lives in Texas and mine is scattered over the US.

well, maybe not for 10 or 11 months of the year....

I was wondering if I should send out a search thread lookin' for ya! Glad to hear the move went well and...WELCOME TO TEJAS!!...... (Tejas..that's how the natives used to spell it..you'll need to know that now that your a Texan).

..and welcome to the Swampdivers...your one of us now..

I guess we'll have to start thinkin' about the next Swampdiver gathering now that your down here. Kathleen and I are looking forward to seeing you and David again. Say howdy to all the Southern Swampers for us.

Welcome home. :)

raviepoo once bubbled...
Yeah. Join the local dive club, and give your winter coats to the salvation army.

If north of Houston keep at least one of the coats! There is nothing between Dallas and the arctic circle but a barbed wire fence in Kansas, and it's down most of the winter.:)

Welcome back to the board Natasha. We sure missed you.
I don't have any hints on how to adapt. I lived in California for a year and never felt like I fit in. But that was before I was a diver.

So how is your new place?
