One of my dive buddies here in Iwakuni, and I were planning on taking Fundementals together sometime around November after I returned from the desert. As we've been diving more and discussing our goals, we realized....what the hell! Let's do it now!

So, we're making plans right now with Thomas Jonsson from Tokyo to take Fundamentals. He's going to travel down to Iwakuni and do the class here.

After we iron out the scheduling details, he'll post the class on the GUE website.
I can't wait...then I'll be able to post payment and access the student materials. :-)

I guess I'll be delaying that new can light purchase I was planning.

There's nothing like finding a solid dive buddy with the same goals...Of course, everybody here already knows that. :-)

I feel like a fat kid at a cupcake factory!!

Oh, yes! A team-minded diver without a buddy is a fish out of water . . . Glad you have found a teammate.

Post a report of your class, if you would; I don't think we've ever had a report of one of Tom's classes here.

Will do Lynne,

I just got an email from my instructor. Our class is a go!

I'm am thrilled! I've been wanting to take this class for a very long time!
Finally! :-)

I will be sure and post a class report.

That's great that you got a class before your deployment... that way while you are there you can spend time doing dry skills in the sand and confuse the heck out of everyone who sees you :)

It's funny how things work out.....My AFGN trip has been delayed. :-)

Plenty of time for diving now!
