I purchased a new hyper aqualand from a U.S. watch discounter on ebay. It arrived today and looks good except the model number I purchased was MA9040552E but the manual with my watch says MA9xxx/Cal.No. d20*. I think this might be an older model
than what I thought I was purchasing but I'm not sure Also when i put the watch into dive mode it reads max 154 ft dive t 7' 1.10 -1 d start 1:09 plog. If i hit the time button it then says ave 92 ft. min 81 1.10 -1, finish 1:16 plog. Does this mean the watch had a dive on it or would this occur from being flown in? I'm not making much sense of this from the manual and I thought someone familiar with the hyper aqualand might be able to give me some advice as to whether they sent me the model I paid for and whether its been in the water before? I don't see either model number on the case. Thanks for any help.

Hey Dude! I bought a Hyper Aqualand Pro -I think. Digital dive watch, holds 30 dives.Does SI, start and end time and all that. It had the same thing when I got mine from LeisurePro. I think it was a test the factory did on the watch. Mine was definitly new judging by the packaging. I just cleared the log and started over. The first was a dive to 290 feet or so and the second I don't recall. I believe it is some sort of testing. Citizen could cut about 50 dollars off the price if they put their watches in a box like Timex!! What do you think? kk

The watch is showing you the depth of the test dive. (in a chamber)

Just slap the watch on your wrist and claim the depth as your own.
