Nice to know that those cheap Amazon dive lights are tougther of what anyone could ever thought.

issue isn't the tube for those cheap lights, but the poor quality of the oring seals and anodization. ends up corroding and then leaking killing the light eventually.
 
His test of the aluminum light never killed the torch, but it did fill with water at high pressures. It was amazing that the LEDs and alkaline batteries worked when flooded with FRESH water, but I don't think it would have stood a chance in salt water. (AMHIK).

BTW that's a very cool YouTube channel!
