I think all one needs do is drink something BEFORE the dive, not during.

If you're experiencing dry mouth, just breathe more slowly and deeper.

Just another gadget to drag along . . . in my opinion.

Gonzalve:
I would like to see something more thorough in its design: ie attachable to BCD's or tank?

What does everyone thingk?
There's a device on the market that inject liquids into the 2nd stage mouthpiece. "Scuda" , I think. Google is your friend.

Some divers just use the standard biking / hiking / sports hydration systems (IIRC, camelback and platypus are typical names).

I just use some 200ml foil juice packs, such as the Capri Sun brand.
