Hi guys,

About 2 month ago I started with underwater videography. I'm using a HV20 with the Ikelite 6071 housing.

My biggest issue at the moment is shaky footage. The OIS (optical image stabilization) seems to work fine on land, but my underwater footage is shocking. Yesterday I read on the internet that some people turn OIS off for underwater videography. Why? This doesn't make sense to me.

Anyway, what are your experiences with the HV20 Ikelite setup? Any advice on how I can produce better results?

Thanks!
Slinger

what do you mean exactly when you say "shaky"? Are you moving the camcorder around too fast or is it that the image can't focus? Is there a way you could show us what is happening?
