Greetings divers. I've been lurking for a bit now, having just returned to diving after a long hiatus.
I was originally certified by PADI right when I turned 12 as a Junior Open Water Diver, however we didn't dive much as a family as my father discovered that even being underwater wasn't far enough from the waves to keep him from getting sea sick
My twin brother and I picked the sport back up recently, and this past year have had a great time diving in North Florida, Bermuda, Cabo San Lucas, and the Keys.
I just finished my AOW and Nitrox certifications, and look forward to moving to more rigorous training with another agency after I finish the Rescue Diver course.
I live in Ohio, so don't get to dive every day, but am getting under the water as much as possible.
I'm also a competitive sailboat racer, and was the head sailing instructor at our club for a number of years in college.
I work in the software industry and have an interest in software development, engineering, and the sciences.
Thanks everyone for contributing to such a great resource for divers, and thanks in advance for entertaining my noob questions.
