how to use sunblock on face

I was not saying that because it's less pollution than what the diveboat produces that it was justifiable. I think we're both in agreeance.

I have been taking ASA sailing classes and learned about these $20-30 sailing hats that are SPF 50, wide brimmed, cover the neck and ears, and have two strings (front and back) to save 'em from flying off. Forget baseball caps. These also dry fast and have vents.

For your arms/torso consider wearing dive skins (lycra/spandex is also SPF-50). Cost $25 each for long sleeve and long shorts. I take mine sailing/boating even when not diving!

Beyond not needing sunscreen, you save alot of time putting it on, and make your equipment & boats last longer, don't slip, and - oh yeah - save the reefs for the next generation.

BTW sailboats use very little diesel. Sailors hate the noise and dirt. Besides wind is free....

Just thought of another sunblock.

Go to the bar.
Order one of those fancy drinks with the fruit and umbrella in it. Make it a double.
Drink it.
Order another one.
Drink it.
Orfer anuffer oune.
Dink it
Tell the bartender "I love ya man" and pass out on bar.

Deprnding on when you started drinking you should have used up most of the daylight hours eliminating the need for sunblock.

and stick them into your scalp (this might hurt, but the booze will help) to cover
most of your head from the sun.

Relax, Remember what you have been taught and enjoy the trip into another world. It's normal to be nervous but when your head gets under and you see what this world has to offer you'll relax.

Rome wasn't built in a day, Neither are good divers so relax and enjoy.
