How to get to Palau?

Hi there.

As my planned flight by Far Eastern has been suspended (FAT went bankrupt), is there any other way to get there besides flying sooo expensive Continental? Or do I have to postpone my plans for wonderfull dives @ Palau again...?

I found a good price today on AA and JAL to get to Guam. I'm still working the details getting to Palau. Using 11/3 – 11/25 as sample dates, I can fly from MIA to NRT on American (flights 617 & 61 or 1773 & 61 or 1487 & 153) for $675. I found this fare on aa.com. Then Expedia quoted JAL flight 981 NRT to GUM at $365. That’s pretty darned cheap and I can spend any time I want in Tokyo and Guam.

Continental wanted $1700 from LAX to GUM. Give it a shot.

i thought continental owned the routes within micronesia so the only way to get from guam to the outter island was via their airline

Continental is the only game from Guam to Palau. Last time I went it was $700 plus.

Continental Airlines Vacations got me a (kinda) flat rate fare around Micronesia. I'm doing Truk, Yap, and Palau for a lot less than $700. I don't remember a ton of the details so I can't tell you more. Call them at 800.348.0842.

JAL and its subsidiary JAL WAYS fly direct flights to Palau and Majuro from NRT.
These flights are chartered/ non scheduled flights for the holiday season, and not
scheduled flights.

Thank you! This sounds great, as I wanna fly from some destination close to HKG (I'll fly there from Europe).
I considered JAL route, but we postponed our trip to Japan to next year.

Continental fly from Manila direct to Guam direct on Wednesdays and Fridays departing around 2200 and arriving the next days at approx 0150.

From Manila to Guam every day and Guam to Koror every day as well
