Dear all,
I have an AOI Olympus EPL10 MFT housing with the standard 14-42mm lens and the basic flat port.
Now I want to buy the UWL 09pro as a wide angle wet lens and the float collar, because this thing weighs about a ton.
I already read in the forum, that someone had a problem reaching the release button on the AOI Quick release system that is normally used for quickly attaching and detaching these wet lenses (Burping wet wide angle lens) because the collar is in the way.... so if this does not work, does one of you have a better idea how to easily mount and burp a heavy lens with an unpractically large floatation ring attached to it?
I was thinking of simply putting it all on my saga 67mm flip adapter that I normally use for diopters and just open it a bit to let the air out once underwater... does that sound like a great or a terribly stupid idea? Does anyone have experience using flip adapter for something bigger and heavier than a diopter?
Any other ideas or solutions that come to mind?
Thank you for your help and input !!!!
