How to clean O-ring

I bought my first UW housing (Oly PT-020) and camera (Oly c5060) recently. After reading the instruction, I noticed clean o-ring is pretty important. However, it's really hard to clean, always see a lot of small tiny dust or hair stick on it. How should I make my hand hair/small fabric free after dry by towel? and any tips to clean the o-ring? those little thing drive me crazy!

Any suggestion is appreciated!

Wipe it with some kitchen roll or similar that wont leave small particles. Wiping it dry with a normal towel may well make it worse depositing loads of small hairs.

I rinse mine in warm soapy water run them through my fingers, then I allow them to dry then I use a light coating of appropriate "O" ring gel.
This is also what I do when storing my "O" rings as well I place them in a clip seal bag and place inside the housing.

At walmart in the vision center they sell small mirofiber cloths for about a buck fifty each that is what i use. Use it a couple times then toss it there cheap enough. and no small hairs.
