So normally I was given a medium bc when I rented from dive shops. When I went to buy my brigade however, my size measurements seemed to indicate I should get a small (5'6", 130lbs, Waist 30). However as I'm trying it on it just seems slightly small. The cumberband comes down to the very top of my waist (my belly button is right in the center of the cumberband), the sternum strap comes across midway between my sternum and my neck, and the corrugated strap that says 'brigade' sits on the top of my shoulder. It seems small to what I'm used to, but it could just be that I was always given oversized bc's by dive shops in the past. Any suggestions?

You might need a small with medium shoulders which would lower the cumberbund without increasing it's circumference. I would talk to scubatoys about it.

Your belly button should be at the top of the cumberbund, that is what Larry told me when I ordered mine. Sounds like you need a medium harness as theredhead suggested.
