OK, I was feeling darn stoked after logging dive #37 over the weekend...after all, I've only been diving 2 months...then I'm told of another student in May OW class that has logged nearly 80 dives...Holy ****! Simply a poll of curiosity...how quickly did you log dive #50? (hey, that's got some rhythm!)

four years, but I've got a lot of unlogged dives for various reasons(mostly because when i started diving the first time, I'd never heard of a log book)

For which year? I'm almost to 200 so far this year.

About four months ...

I believe he's asking for your first 50 after OW cert ...

Don't get hung up on numbers. You're diving regularly and enjoying it!! And doing so much more often than most folks who got certified this year in this country and the rest of the world.

Many of us on here dive a LOT. But not for the numbers. I'll take 2 great dives over a weekend and be much happier than grinding out 8 short shallow dives just to say I did that many.

Over 16 months—was doing my national service then and did not have much opportunity to dive.

My gf reached #50 in 3 months.

six months... but i had a hellacious schedule then, and getting to dive was
nay-impossible
