Does anyone have an idea what would be a fair price to pay for a pair of Scubapro steel 95's? They were just inspected and had the hydro done last year. Both are in excellent condition. They are white and have the tank boots with them.

Thanks Jim!

With a recent hydro and in excellent condition, $200-$225 is more reasonable, especially when you consider that they are fabers and are about 6-7 pounds lighter than PST or worthington LP 95's.

$150 each is more what you would expect to pay for out of hydro fabers or PST LP 95's.

Would that be each or for both? I'm assuming you mean for both.

EDIT!

Never mind. I went back and read your post more carefully!

Thanks.

I'd concur. If you can get in hydro excellent condition 95s for $150, you're getting a steal and the seller probably doesn't know the real value or really needs the cash.

EDIT - Price is each per tank.

Good luck,

The reason I am asking all of this is I may have them to sell soon.

In that case, I'll give you $150 each! :D

Seriously, Faber LP 95's are great tanks, so the $225 each figure is a fair price if they have a recent hydro and are in excellent shape. Scubapro/Faber's are painted, but have a hot dipped galvanized finish under the paint, making them much more desireable than some other painted tanks.

Yep. These are painted white and have a black boot.

Fabers are cold-spray galvanized -- PST and Worthington are hot-dipped. :) (at least the latest Worthingtons are hot-dipped -- I believe the first batch from ~2005 were cold-spray galvanized and look just like Fabers)
