Empty 31.38 LB (Ludfer 80)
http://www.huronscuba.com/equipment/scubaCylinderSpecification.html

77.4 Cf X .08 LB/CF = 6.192 LBWeight of air
6.192 + 31.38 = 31.38 = 37.28 LB full

If you're evaluating it against other tanks don't ignore the buoyancy side since this tank goes 4.4 pounds positive when empty you need to add about 4 pounds to your weights just to keep it neutral at the end of the dive.

Does that include the valve Pete?

From the link:
Empty weights do not include valves (except Pressed Steel noted with *), which would add 1.5 - 2.5 lbs, but buoyancy figures do.

I'm used to tallying for my PST cylinders but for aluminim the valve would need to be added as noted.

That makes the darned AL-80 even heavier! Gotta love my E7-80s.
