Does anyone really know how many Inspirations are out there? I've heard ranges from 1000 to 6000. Has APV reported on sales or are people just making up numbers?

Unfortunately APD doesn't publish those numbers. Just that they're number 1
My guess would be somewhere between 4000 and 5000. Maybe the Mole can give you more than a WAG as he has pretty good contact with APD ... .

Nope, APD keep well stum on numbers
General consensus mid last year was 3-5K units, must be 4-6K units now
Trying to be more methodical
When they started they could produce 30 units a month. There has always been a waiting list so thats a min of 30 * 12 * 5 = 1800
Productuion has been stepped up many times due to demand, at one point there was a 20 week waiting list
Production now is more like 100 + units a month which puts an upper limit of 6000
So somewhere between these figures
