Hi guys, im mulling a Nov/Dec trip and based off several reports here I think the recommendation is to go in the midst of the warm/wet season around Jan-Jun. Consequently most trip reviews are around that period. So I'm hoping to get more advice or reviews of people who went during this period.

From reading, Nov/Dec is less recommended because it's a period of change for the humboldt current and hence one gets a mixture of:
cold waters (20C)
Wildlife uncertainty (might be too late for whale sharks, too early for sharks and mantas)

Alas work makes it such that I only have free time in that period this year so Im wondering whether to shell out or wait to go in the prime season.
