Went to Little cayman 2 years ago and stayed at Southern Cross and loved it.. Now we have a 1 year old with us and would like to visit Cayman Brac but dont know what would be good for the baby. My mom will come as well to help watch the baby.

We are divers but would like a place good for the baby.. Decent beach and kid friendly. From what I've read, the southern part has better beaches. Thinking of Brac Reef BR.. how is the beach and crowd? I understand that some places only caters to divers and dont know how they feel about young children.

Any recommendations for a place to stay? Condo, house, resort.. ?

Also, if I rent a car, will it be hard to book a dive and find a place to eat?

Thank you again, any help would be super!

I've been to Brac Reef BR several times and I think you would be fine taking a 1 yr old there. Most guests are adults and most of those are divers, but not all. I have seen small children at the resort. The beach area is large and clean. There are many trees in the beach area to provide protection from the sun. The resort pool is not large, but very clean. The resort is small, so the beach is not crowded at all. In fact, you should always be able to find a private spot on the beach. The resort owner and the staff are VERY friendly.

If you end up staying somewhere else, you should be able to dive with Reef Divers at the Brac Reef BR.

There are not many places to eat on Cayman Brac. The food at Brac Reef BR is awesome. I would recommend getting the meal plans if you stay there. Made-to-order omlets, and the dinners are always different.

I have a 6 month old and we are considering going back to Brac Reef resort when he is a little older.
