Does anyone have any interesting and/or efficient ways that you store/organize your scuba equipment when not in use? Peg board? Shelves? Racks? Hooks? Hangers?

If you've got a good method, post a pic to share with everyone!

Store? who stores dive gear?? I leave mine in the bathtub rinsing till the next day - then I'll dive them again. You mean you let your grear dry out??!?!?!

My mum isnt happy about our placing of gear, in the bath then kitchen chairs (bcd's/wetsuits) so I'm open to option too. :)

I made this. I modified a set of plans from a Black & Decker book and made a locker to handle ours.

I mounted the whole rig on 6 castor wheels so I can roll it anywhere I need, like outside to take pictures of it.

This is my locker closed. I mounted hooks on the side to hang bits of gear to dry. I used a couple of U-bolts on the top to mount a hanger rod. I slid it out to the side when I need to hang suits up to dry, slide it back in when I need it out of the way. I keep this in my garage & put a large rubbermaid tub next to it for the gear to drip into:

This is a look at the inside. I can get 6 tanks in the space under the shelf on the right. Both my poke pole and speargun fit inside the left compartment, as well as all the wet suits & BC's, extra jackets & such:

Approximate dimensions of the locker are 48 wide, 24 deep by 6 ft 6 inches tall, not counting the wheels. The top, bottom, sides and shelves are 3/4 treated plywood, the back is a 1/8 panel and the doors are 1/8 pegboard.

I mostly use the right side to dry gear before storing it, and have hooks on the left wall to hang our gear bags from.

I wash my gear after a dive in the Tub and let it soak for awhile. I then let it hang dry outside for the next day. After my wetsuit/bc/reg are dry they come in the house and hang in my closet. My other gear goes in my gear bag also in my closet.

I come home and rinse off my gear, then the stuff goes in my closet in another room for next weekend.

Nice setup! Got any closeups of the doors where you've got some accessories hanging?

I put my wetsuits in the closet (hanging). My camera case goes in an airtight mask case. My Reg, lights, computer, and a bunch of other accessories goes into a double reg bag. Everything else once dry goes into a huge plastic tube, and I stick my reg bag in there as well.

So wetsuits hanging, everything else in the TUB!!!

My gear is stored in a dual axle Haulin trailer. I bought it from a buddy of mine when he decided to upgrade to a larger trailer.

The tanks are stored in tank holders that are similar to what you'd see on a boat. Lighter dear fits on racks. Heavy gear, including my scooter, fits on a heavy duty rack in the front.

The trailer is wired for 110v power, so I can plug it into my garage or run a small generator that powers a dehumidifier and chargers for the scooter and can light. I've also got a blower that helps dry things out.

I've got a 26 gallon water bladder that is connected to an electric pump. The pump has a hose and a spray nozzle. As a result, I can rinse my gear as I'm disassembling it, which allows me to clean it as I'm putting it away.

Finally, everything is bungeed down.

The nicest thing about this setup is that I don't need to do much when its time to dive. I hook up the trailer, confirm that the brakes are still calibrated, and go.
