How do I edit my profile picture?

Hello,

I was trying to upload a profile picture, and I keep getting a response that the photo file is not valid. I tried to download the photo from a flash drive, and I also tried saving the photo to a hard drive for download, but I had no luck. Any advice will be appreciated.
