How do I delete a thread I made?

I was on the East End boat that broke free of the mooring ball. If you haven't had that experience don't take it lightly. Although everyone handled the situation extremely well it could have gone much worse. The seas were rough that day and it was very windy.
Some of my fellow divers were seasick hanging onto the 3' remaining piece of mooring line. It is my opinion someone should have remained on that boat.
I would be reluctant to dive with any operator again that follows the empty boat operating procedure.
