I am starting to put together a D90 package. I have the camera already.
I am going after a 60mm lens first and get the wide parts later.

I have been checking prices reading reviews. It seams that Nauticam is very popular.
I have been advised to stay away from Ikelite because of the port system.
For $300 I could go Aquatica (aluminum vs. plastic). Its a big jump to the $2600 for the Nautica.

My existing Sea and Sea strobes wont function with ttl but I used them manually with my old camera anyway. But it looks like the fiberoptics will only work with one or 2 choices.

Any feedback?

For a rig that will get 100 dives a year max, and well cared for, what would you do?

The Nauticam D90 housing is $2300...however the design, ergonomics and build quality of the Nauticam are top notch. The ability to use ports from major manufacturers is also a very nice feature.

What S&S strobes do you have? For the Nauticam, fiber optics are standard, however a bulkhead could be added for $100. That would allow you to use your older strobes via a Sea and Sea Dual Sync Cord. We do also give immediate credit for your old strobes (at current Ebay value) if you are upgrading with us.

Here is a link to the Nauticam D90 housing.

100 dives a year is a very good amount of diving, which means your housing system will get a good amount of use. The average diver today only does 30-50 dives a year.

A good camera and housing set up will last you a while unless you like to have the latest and greatest. One thing to consider on a system such as this is other than the camera and housing, the rest is really a long term investment. The ports, strobes, sync cords and arms will last you quite some time.

I hope this helps, let me know if I can be of any assistance.
