We have a housing for a Rebel film camara and a buddy just got a rebel xt digital. I understand there is a retro fit that is fairly simple. Is this true? Has anyone done it? Where did you find the info? Thanks.

Sure might help people answer if you said what MANUFACTURE the housing is?

I can not answer your question, but it's seems somewhat unlikely that a film housing would work for a digital camera as there are a lot more controls on the digital, however stranger things have happened
