I recently lost my PT-027 underwater casing (actually it "broke" at 60ft down with my c-5060 inside). As a result, I am looking at alternatives. The PT-027 is no longer made and is difficult to find.
In addition to the housing, I use the Sea & Sea 90 duo strobe. I am considering the Ikelite housing, but if I want to do TTL I think I am required to use the Ikelite strobes.
What other alternatives are available? I know of the Ikelite and tetra 7070 housings. The Tetra 7070 is considerable more - $500 vs. $1,800, but I believe the Tetra is compatible with the DX-90 strobe. At the cost I can probably buy the housing, strobe and ttl solution from Ikelite.
Also, I did find a new PT-027 available at Broadway Photo and Video. Has anyone had any experience with them or has any information on them?
