Hotel Recommendations

I'm taking my son (single, age 26) to Coz for a dive trip this spring. In the past, I have stayed at Occidental Grand and Casa Mexicana. Neither of these have the sort of "leisure-time" activities that would appeal to young singles.

Which hotel/hotels are the best for a "socially active" young single? (or said another way, where is "coed party central" in Coz?)

Coed party central is probably in Cancun if you are looking for that kind of thing. Cozumel is primarily a dive island and cant really support the Spring break, or real party crowd. Dont get me wrong, Cozumel can be a party place, but not to the scale of Cancun's reputation. Most major hotels are located north or south of town and sit by themselves. Carlos and Charlies, Senor Frogs, and Viva Mexico are basically your 3 major singles hangouts here.
