Hi Everyone

I need to stay in Cabo for one night before boarding Nautilus bound for Socorro

Does anyone know what is the nearest place to stay?

Thanks very much

Layla

When we went to Socorro the Nautilus had a day room at one of the hotels and that is where it instructed all the divers to meet up. Get a hold of them and ask if they still do that and then book your room there.

Do you know where the Nautilus Explorer docks?

The Hotel Tesoro is located right at the marina in Cabo San Lucas and very convenient to just about everything in town. Assuming that Naut. Expl. docks somewhere in the marina, it can't be too far a walk along the marina boardwalk.

I stayed at the Tesoro going to the Nautilus and had a great stay. It is the hotel that NE recommended. I had arrived a day earlier than recommended and was please with the ambiance and service of that establishment. I would certainly stay there next time.

By the way, if you are coming in from the airportdo not get on one of the buses as you come out of the terminal. Arrange for a transfer company to pick you up (ckeck the Nautilus website for the company they use.) If not, you iwll get a three hour sales pitch on buying a time share as you make 6 or 7 stops between the airport and the harbor. Not a good way to start the trip.

You can walk from the hotel to the boat, its on the other side of the harbor. With a the camera gear we had, we just arranged with the Nautilus transfer company to pick us up since there were several of us at the tesoro. It was all handled very well and quite efficiently.

Yeah the Tesoro was fine.
I have taken the airport bus without problem, you want the hotel one, it does go to most of the hotels before you get to the Tesoro, but otherwise its about $85 for a taxi. You can buy a couple of beers at the airport before you board.

Enjoy your trip!

Jack

Thanks Everyone

Yes, I saw the Tesoro on Naulitus website and was all ready to book it
And then my travel companion said she wanted to stay in a a beach resort
Now, we are talking for only one afternoon and one night only!!!

I told her to sort it out herself when she gets back from her current trip

Thanks so much for replying
