Anyone been here and done the all inclusive package? How is the on site dive op? How about the hotel food?

Rooms are OK. Clean but nothing special. I didn't have the AI, just had breakfast and it was OK. We went in the off season so the selection was somewhat limited. In my opinion, the only reason to get the AI is if you plan on drinking a lot or have kids that will be spending a lot of time at the pool. Hotel Coz is too close to town to eat all your meals on site. I didn't dive with the onsite op but they seemed to do a good job.

ditto....hotel is clean rooms are ok....food is so so but easy to just eat breakfast and lunch there and then go to town in the evening where the food is sooo much better...their beach club is nice you can have lunch and watch the boats out on the water plus you can get off the dive boat rinse your gear have lunch and then go shower etc.....you do not have to use the onsite dive op you can choose any op you want...

I have stayed there a few times and as others have said its a nice hotel within walking distance to town. The only way I would do the AI again is if it was really cheap, the package that include breakfast is best in my opinion. The breakfast I thought was pretty good with the omelets and fresh fruits, but the lunch and dinner options are not very good, especially with so many great restaurants within easy walking distance. I have not used their on site op for anything other than shore diving tanks, I have used Blue XT and they pick you up right at the hotel pier.

Cruise Ship people come there daily now, it's one of the
things to do in Cozumel as a day trip
They bring pod people onto the property....?!

Ditto on the rooms, clean but not especially special. Convenient to town, but I still rented a car to drive around and eat.

Ditto on the dive op. Large slow boats. The dive masters were good, but we were the last to get to the dive sites. It is a little hard to watch other dive operators with faster boats pick up people at the Hotel Coz pier area.

It was great for having a large family as they loved the big pool and the pool side games. It was convenient to wash gear, stow and get a shower.

But if you don't use the house op and their slow boats, then you can't use the lockers - so you have to take gear back to the 350 sq ft rooms...?? :(

And take care of you're gear. That was my problem with Dive Paradise, I don't like hauling the gear back and forth, much easier to leave it on the boat. The price is the same i think. DP has time limits too.
