Had a customer in the shop this past weekend taking a very hard look at your Hot Shot Fins. He liked the selling points, but was not happy with the fit. He asked, "Why the heck would Aqualung make a barefoot fin in only three sizes and not at least have the option of an adjustable fin strap?"

Given the whole range of foot sizes and shapes out there, and the may fit preferences of different customers, I found myself agreeing with him completely.

So, how about an adjustable fin strap?

I changed the one size fits all strap to an adjustable strap. They have a standard post so it's easy to do. I like to wear boots for shore diving and this is all it took to make my size 11 to fit in the xl fins with tropical boots. I do wish Aqua Lung would make the change on their end. These fins are great for traveling, but they need to be adjustable.

Traditional strap adjustment buckles go against the design concept of this fin. Our testing indicated that three sizes with a bungee style strap covered the range of foot sizes. To date, the feedback on the sizing has been good.

The good news for you however, is that traditional straps with adjustment buckles can be added to this fin. The strap attachment points are the traditional nubs found on our other fins. If you need help, just give us a call.
