I recently heard about an area close to the power plant at lake Keowee that stays warm all year. I thought you guys may have some info and opinions.

I don't want to glow. But I will be working in the Keowee area for the next year or two and it sounded interesting.

Thanks,

I have not been there. A search of the forums might help. There is a divemaster named samsliquidblue you could pm. He seems to have experience in the hot hole.

No need to wory about glowing...it is secondary cooling water that you would be swimining in...and usually any liquid rad waste is released at night...

The hot hole is also a drift dive. I haven't dove it but have talked to people who have while I have been diving in Jocasse
