I dive sidemount with a pair of 8" diameter tanks, and the rubber hose retainers that they sell for the more common 7.25" tanks barely fit, and are a pain when I need to re-stow a hose underwater. Does anyone know of commercially available hose retainers for my tanks, or should I just take some bungee cord and improvise something?

Thank you, tbone. I will order some from Bobby. I've had the DiveRite ones before, but even though the claim they work on 8" tanks, they are very tight. And break easily.

I sidemount worthington LP108's (8") and use the diverite retainers. Maybe you got the wrong ones, Mine are almost loose. Far from tight enough to get damaged. My kit came with some retainers that fit 8" and some for 7.25, and one for whatever diameter my al40 deco bottle is.
