Hooking up my LP hose to my 1st stage - Question

Do I need to use a lubricate on the o-ring when making this connection, or do i just tighten this connection using an appropriate amount of torque?

just passed finger tight, aka snug. no lube required since it is a static o-ring

I'd go a bit more than finger tight, but you don't need or want to crank down on the wrench. Just so it doesn't loosen easily by twisting the hose.

Thanks, I didn't think I needed lube, but I wanted to double check. I'll do finger tight, then take a small wrench and just snug it up a bit. I appreciate your help.

A little lube will keep friction from causing any problem. Spit will work.

I give mine a gentle introduction to the wrench after finger tight just enough that I can't unscrew it accidently.
