Hello everyone, have a brand new 8mm Neo dive hood that I’m struggling to get on. Should I soak it in warm water or how else can I stretch the neoprene?

Didn’t get my head through the neck, the inside neoprene is bone dry so it just sticks to my hair.Where is it too tight? Did you get it fully on or stop before your noggin got through the neck hole?
Stretch it over a tank for a period of time if you have one handy to open up the neck a bit. Otherwise you may have just bought the wrong size.
Also, different brand hoods fit differently for the same size and for different thicknesses. Go try a bunch on until you find what you like.
Get it wet and see what happens. Depending on how I feel I'll wet my head/face before squeezing into my drysuit neck seal and subsequently my hood. They get a bit more stretchy as you wear it more often and the neoprene breaks down.Didn’t get my head through the neck, the inside neoprene is bone dry so it just sticks to my hair.
Conditioner. Reef safe, as suggested above, or the largest value sized you can find. Coat the inside.Didn’t get my head through the neck, the inside neoprene is bone dry so it just sticks to my hair.
