So I got a full face mask, since diving in Monterey California I'm going to need a hood. So been debating getting a hood with the skin around the face opening then put mask on top of hood Or trim a hood so that mask sits on face. This maybe obvious but if I trim the hood that means trimming the chin of the hood off right?

IIRC, Seasoft is the brand that has a really good hood for FFM diving. When I use them at the university I work with, they have special hoods for the FFM's and I think they're Seasofts

After a lot of procrastinating, I just trimmed my hood; it did require cutting out the chin. Worked really well, OTS Guardian went right on, no fussing, very quiet dive.

I'm going to go check out Seasoft, though, see what they offer...
